I am just figuring this flute thing out. here is one I got to work. It has several tuning holes in the back and I had to patch the top two holes in order to re-drill them to make it in tune....

the tsh and flue needs to be between 1/2 and 2/3 of the bore diameter. wider is louder. tsh length should be be around 3/16" long for keys higher than B4. around 7/32"-1/4" for keys lower than B4....

You are doing a great job on the flute. I love the elderberry I got and it makes a nice flute. The foot to stand up is a nice touch and looks to be a challenge.

Do you glue the cork in there or just jam it in there nice and tight. Also, when you go for the base tune, do you do it with all the holes open or all the holes closed??
